There’s a Zebra in My Backyard

We are still not feeling all that great. Lion’s tummy is off from time to time. He’s tired. I can be fine one minute and not the next. It’s very disconcerting. We can’t really plan anything, including what’s for dinner.

Lion mentioned putting up some pictures. Some of them were expensive and also have expensive framing. I’ve been trying to keep them safe, but it makes sense to get them out of harm’s way altogether. He also mentioned going out for dinner. See above. I don’t know how we’ll feel later. And I still have to find the stew pot. It’s somewhere in one of these boxes. Actually, we have three that will work. And I haven’t been close to any of them. More digging is required.

I may be able to spank him later. Promises, promises. I know. He also needs/deserves/wants an orgasm. Well, I don’t think he’s over-the-top horny, but he’ll get there eventually. We have two days. I bet we can make one of those things happen. How hard can it be? See above.

Lion wants to go down to Portland to get some Voodoo Donuts. We can’t even seem to make it out the door for a local run and he wants to go to Portland. Baby steps. Let’s go for my prescriptions and see how that goes. Any long trips and we might have to pack a bag. We also need to head toward our old house to get some bagels. (The zebra that was loose was in the same town as my last job, by the way.) Again, baby steps.

  1. I don’t recall “Voodoo Donuts” in any previous Journals. Can you elaborate?

    1. VooDoo Doughnuts is a chain of doughnut stores that started in Portland OR. They make wonderful doughnuts in amazing styles and flavors.
