I have been going through mind-numbing training videos for a day and a half. My new boss has me reading some processes. So far, it looks like someone threw a bunch of letters at a Word document. There are lots of acronyms and abbreviations. This, of course, is all part of the what-did-I-get-myself-into phase of a new job. In a few months (I hope it’s that short) I’ll be more comfortable with the gobbledygook.
Lion wasn’t feeling well yesterday so I didn’t spank him. I don’t really think he’s all better yet. He’s under the covers watching TV right now. He set up the coffee pot already, so there’s no risk of being punished for that. I’m more concerned that he’ll keep getting sick. If he does, we’ll need to get to the bottom of it.
Tonight is scheduled as sex night. I’ve been having heartburn since lunch, and I’m not convinced Lion is 100% yet. We may wind up snuggling again. That’s fine by me. I love snuggling with him. I can do a drive by to see if Mr. Weenie reacts. If he does, I can pump up the tires again. I don’t know about riding the bike. Tomorrow is also a sex night. I don’t think there’s any rush to do more tonight.
I took the turkey out of the freezer today. We both love turkey dinners. I’m worried about Lion feeling well enough to enjoy it. I’d much rather put it off for a day or two if he won’t. Of course, we can also back off on the amount of food we make so neither of us is tempted to overeat. I’ll be happy if he can eat it at all.
