The Birthday Boy

Tomorrow is Lion’s birthday. In the past, I’ve gotten him some amazing presents. I’ve also gotten him some not-so-amazing presents. For the past few years, I don’t think they’ve been very amazing. I guess he doesn’t either. He keeps asking if his present involves food. A few times, I’ve gotten him nice food, but there’s been too much of it. He talked about loving lobster rolls, so I got him some. Either they didn’t travel well, or it was a waste since we didn’t get to eat it all. I got him items from a Jewish deli in New York. Again, too much of a good thing. However, I think the best present I ever got him that involved food was a two-pound lobster flown in fresh from Maine to one of our favorite restaurants. Everyone who saw the lobster was jealous. He looked like a little kid on Christmas morning when he ate it. That remains the gift to beat.

This year, I got him little food gifts I knew he’d like. Nothing extravagant. Nothing that’s too much. His actual present was fudge. We both love fudge. We used to get it at the state fair every year. It’s been a few years since we’ve gone, and I thought he’d enjoy it. I also got him a few food items he hasn’t had in a while. The quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. That’s true of Lion, if you don’t go overboard. I just try to find things to make him smile.

We decided we can go to the casino any time at all since I’m not working. We planned to go a few times this past week, but we didn’t make it. Lion wants to go for his birthday. Perfect! It’s a nice outing. He loves the lights and sounds of the slot machines. It will be like a party. I hope he wins the jackpot. He did that the first time we went to a casino here. He thought he broke the machine. The screen went to blue, and he couldn’t play anymore. Suddenly, people descended on us and gave him money. That would be a great birthday present.

I won’t promise him a birthday orgasm. That doesn’t usually work out. I will promise him some attention tonight. I don’t know if it will be the edging blow job he had last night or not. Maybe I’ll give him a pre-birthday orgasm. If we go to the casino, we may be too tired to do anything but snuggle when we get home. I think that still counts as attention.

As for today, we’re off to Five Guys for burgers and fries. Yes, that’s food. No, it’s not really for his birthday. [Lion — Food is a nearly sure thing for me. Yum! Toys are nice too. The only thing about food for my birthday is that it doesn’t last. Neither do orgasms. Oh well. I’m happy with anything Mrs. Lion gives me. Being with her is the best gift of all.]
