Look at the Time!

(An exhaustion-fueled post.)

Neither of us slept well last night. Lion was bothered by allergies and the temperature of the room. The bed is overdue for changing because I’ve been too lazy/busy to change it. It’s been cool around here at night, so I didn’t think we’d need the fan on. I dropped the ball on both accounts. I was going to spank Lion last night, but he was snoozing, and it would have been too much of a rude awakening to wake him up to spank him. He told me I wait too long to do things. Oops. There goes another ball dropping.

However, Lion was snoozing while I made dinner too. If I’d wanted to spank him when I got off work, I’d have been out of luck then too. At what point does it become his fault for snoozing rather than my fault for the late hour? I would have been a little late anyway because I had to make up an hour of work from when I went to pick up the truck. I went straight from working to making dinner so things wouldn’t get too far out of whack.

Since we’re both tired tonight, what will happen? Sometimes I take a nap after work while Lion is snoozing. Can I do that, or do I have to go right from working to spanking? If I snooze, dinner may be later than usual. That will push everything else later. No. I can’t snooze. I have to spank Lion when he comes out of the shower, so he doesn’t have a chance to fall asleep. I’ll have to figure out what to make for dinner and start it so any play is done early enough. I guess we’ll have to start recording Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, so we can play earlier. After all that, I can snooze, except I’ll be wide awake by then.

Oh, yeah. The bed. I’ll have to work changing it into the mix somewhere. A lioness’s work is never done. See that’s not true. A lioness’s work will be done, but the lion will think it’s too late to play at that point.

  1. The lioness has a lot of work and it takes a lot of strength to do it. I do not know where to take it, I can only sympathize.
