My Favorite Chore

So, I forgot all about spanking Lion last night. (Yes, Lion, I just started the sentence with “so”. You’re welcome.) I didn’t even think about it until he mentioned it. Damn. To make matters worse, I didn’t do anything else with him either. I don’t know why. I was just sort of feeling achy all over. About a week ago, the dog wrenched my wrist, and she did it again yesterday. It wasn’t hurting unless I moved it a certain way. Once she wounded me again, it was a dull ache. Evil dog.

Just before bed, Lion said he was feeling down. He didn’t know why. I’m sure I didn’t help by not playing with him. He says that wasn’t a factor, but it may have been. It’s hard to help someone when they’re down. They don’t know what will help. The best you can do is be there.

It’s finally Friday. I thought yesterday was Friday. Alas, it was not. But here we are. I have a lot of things to do and the weather is not going to cooperate with me. I’m hoping it will only rain part of the day or even maybe just drizzle. I can work with drizzle. Of course, there’s a lot to do inside as well.

The most important “chore” is Lion. He’s not a chore, but he is on the to-do list. It’s funny, he never makes it on the “to-done” list. He’s an ongoing chore like making dinner or washing dishes. Obviously, he’s a lot more fun, even without cream filling. I do hope I get cream filling back at some point. I don’t need a diet Lion. I like the full calorie version.

So (I did it again, Lion.), tonight I will definitely spank him and edge him. He may have to remind me about the spanking, but I’ll do it.

[Lion — In case you are wondering what all this “so” stuff is about, we were watching Jeopardy and I observed that every contestant started out their self-descriptions with the word “so.” That bugs me because it is a worthless word that says a lot about the person who starts sentences with it.]
