Nothing Much Going On

Lion remembered the shower door yesterday. He remembered the coffee pot both yesterday and today. I hesitate to say I’m proud of him for remembering because it seems so condescending. Let’s just say I’m glad he did. I don’t like having to spank him. I do it because he needs it. I also don’t like trying to remember to do it. I know we have the magnet now, but I don’t normally look at the whiteboard until I’m trying to decide if Lion should have an orgasm or not. Not that it matters how long he’s waited. I can give him one whenever I want. For the record, I forgot to lock him up again. It’s not so much that I forgot. I remembered when I was doing his eye drops, but we were winding down for bed, and I didn’t want to stir things up again. Excuses. Excuses.

This afternoon, I had to go to work. I didn’t have to. I could have done the training remotely. But I had things to mail, papers to drop off, and papers to pick up. I have to show my face every once in a while. The ongoing training is for the new system. I swear I’d do better with a manual and being left to my own devices. The part I “learned” today seemed like a big secret. They put off teaching us until later, and now I’ll be playing catch up. And I still have to figure it out largely on my own. Oh well. I have another training session next week. Hooray.

Last week I bought corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. As one sitcom called it: poor people food. I never considered it poor people food. It was something we only ate once a year when I was growing up. I just always assumed it wasn’t available the rest of the year. It’s like turkey. You have the big dinner once a year at Thanksgiving, and then all the turkey goes away. Do you mean I can get it all year round? Both things? Can I have corned beef in July? No way! Turkey in February? Get out of here! I don’t care when we have it. I’m always happy to have corned beef or turkey dinner.

Okay. Okay. What about sex? We didn’t do anything last night. Lion sometimes has coughing fits when he eats. It might have something to do with not chewing his food enough or trying to talk while he’s eating. He can’t walk and chew gum at the same time either, but that’s mostly because he thinks chewing gum is a nasty habit. Anyway, these coughing fits take a lot out of him. He wasn’t up for any action last night, so we snuggled for a bit. We’ll try again tonight. At the very least, I can fondle my weenie.

  1. Corn Beef is not a poor persons food & cabbage is costly now. I only eat it about St. Patrick’s Day.
