My Turn to Nap

Yesterday was cloudy. It wasn’t as rainy as many had hoped. I definitely think the clouds affect me. I was tired, and the day was long. I put together the dog’s new grooming table when I got home, hoping to trim her talons. I’m sure Daisy had sharp claws, too, but I only remember her sharp teeth. Unfortunately, the grooming table needs another part to be able to use it effectively. So I went off to make dinner.

I don’t remember if Lion fell asleep or not while I cooked. We decided on pasta because we were very unimaginative. I made a salad too and put together Willow’s bigger crate. She’s not ready for it yet, but she will be soon. By the time I got dinner done, I wasn’t really hungry. I’m not sure I ever was. I ate the salad and a little of the pasta.

After I washed the dishes, I didn’t feel like spanking Lion. I knew I had limited energy, and I thought it would be put to better use sucking him. I knew he’d like that idea. When I was done with my shower, it was clear the pasta was sitting in my stomach like a brick. I have no idea why I wasn’t hungry, but I was too full even though I didn’t eat much. I tried to snuggle with Lion, but I had to beg off when it was clear I wouldn’t be able to do anything sexual.

We watched TV, and around 11, I was waking up from a nap I didn’t realize I had taken. I must have been really tired. I don’t normally fall asleep as easily as Lion does. I have to figure out how to keep the dog awake more during the evening, so she sleeps all night. Then maybe we can sleep uninterrupted. I look forward to that night.

This morning the dog woke me at 5. At least we eliminated the 4 o’clock doggy alarm. She went out and then she was looking to play. I’m glad someone was wide awake. A little after 6, she raced into the bedroom and gave Lion a slurp to wake him up. By 6:45, she was curled up on my shoes. Is it wrong of me to want to wake her up?

It’s Wednesday, and I’m not even going to pretend I’ll spank Lion tonight. I’ll be lucky if I can suck him. Well, I guess he’ll be lucky if I can suck him.
