New Year’s Lion

Happy New Year! At least I hope it will be happier than last year. 2020 was difficult for us. COVID got me furloughed in April and I’m still not back at work. I decided to see if I could start a new career as a writer. My first effort is a romance/adventure novel. The Kindle version is available for preorder on Amazon. Release date is this coming Tuesday. It’s called Fan Mail. Hopefully, it will generate enough money to help us survive. This is my first attempt at fiction. I set the price very low, just $2.99 for the Kindle edition. The paperback is $12.99.

It’s a little unusual. The main characters are Leslie Peters, an actress who stars in a popular sitcom, and Steve Bash, a consultant from Seattle. He sends her a fan letter and she decides to reply. Together, they discover that when she is in charge, particularly in bed, both are happy. There is some spanking and lots of girl-on-top sex. I had a great time writing it.

If you decide to read it, please go back to the listing and review it. Aside from stroking my ego, positive reviews help a book sell. Face it, having me pitch you a book is a lot nicer than listening to me try to sell you Amway. This isn’t my first career pivot. I’ve made a few in my life. I’ve also been on both sides of the paddle. I don’t know if blogging counts. If it does, this blog has given me a lot of practice writing. Fan Mail is my first crack at fiction, though some of the scenes come from my own life. I won’t say which.

This post is from my shameless self promotion department. If you have a blog, I would be grateful if you could mention my book. I’ll be back to my usual weirdness tomorrow. Thank you!

  1. I tried to buy your book on Amazon but I couldn’t find it.

You can find the US page here. Thanks for your interest!

  2. I’ve bought a kindle copy after reading the sample and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the story. I’d be interested in how you arranged for publication. I’ve been writing erotic (and some non-erotic) fiction for several years but haven’t published anything yet. I’ve written about 120 short and a couple not-so-short stories so far.

Oh, and I’ve been following your blog for a couple years now and look forward to every installment. I’m envious of your relationship. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your support. I used Amazon direct publishing (kdp.amazon.com).
