Libido, Frustration and a Short Hibernation

I went to the doctor yesterday for my pap smear and help finding my missing libido. The doctor said that since I’m past menopause, the only symptoms able to be treated are pain and dryness. Luckily, if you want to call it lucky, I am on an anti-anxiety drug that might be the culprit. But I need my drug. It’s what keeps me sane. Rather than take my drug away, we’re adding a new drug that doesn’t have the same libido-killing side effect and lowering the dosage of the original drug. Needless to say, Lion was very happy with this news. My goal is to remain sane. Lion’s goal is to get my libido back. I hope we’ll meet up somewhere in the middle.

Lion reported that he was very horny last night. I was tired. I hadn’t slept well, but I had enough energy to get him excited. It took a while and I wasn’t able to actually get him to the edge before I had to stop, but he said if the idea was to get him super riled up and leave him frustrated, then I did a very good job. I’m glad. I like making him feel good even if I do stop just short of his scoring. Tonight, I think I’ll throw some ball bondage or clothespins in there. It’s been a while since I’ve really played with him. Sometimes I grab his balls with my hand while I suck him, but it’s better when he’s tied up. I mean, I assume it is. I don’t have statistical data on the subject. [Lion comments: 9 out of 10 lions prefer the rope.]

We have to go to Costco today for the dog’s medicine and a few other things. I have to go to work on Monday and then I’m working from home Tuesday and Wednesday. With any luck, I won’t have to venture out into the world until the following Monday. Even without the pandemic, I’d want to do that. After all, I threaten to hibernate every winter.

It turns out bears don’t sleep all winter. They wake up and move around. They just don’t leave their dens. Maybe, instead of Mrs. Lion, I should be Mrs. Bear.

I really hope that you can find a balance that suits both of you.
