Full Lion Moon

Lion is worried about wearing suspenders. He thinks they’ll make him look old. He thinks he’ll look like a farmer. I suggested overalls. He didn’t think that was very funny.  I think he’ll look worse if he moons people when his pants fall down.

He’ll really need his suspenders when he goes back to work. I don’t think he’ll be able to pull his belt tight on his pants by then. And even if he could, his pants still have a tendency to fall down anyway. It’s because his cute little butt doesn’t help at all. If he didn’t have a gut, he’d just be a straight line down both the front and back. As much as he hates the idea of suspenders, I think they are his only option.

When his pants aren’t falling down, Lion is still falling asleep randomly. It’s not as bad as it was just after surgery. Then he would fall asleep sitting, standing, talking, eating, any time. Now it’s just when he’s in the car or in bed. That’s the safest places so I’m happy with that improvement.

The next step is to get Lion off the pain meds. Supposedly, the pain should be subsiding any day now. Once Lion is able to take fewer pills, he may be able to stay awake more. Then he can stay awake for snuggling and play. He may think I just want to sit around with my nose in my iPad, but I’m looking forward to getting back to normal too.

When he is at work does he wear a suit jacket, maybe he should start if not then he can hide the suspenders
