I’m still sick at home. I don’t mind being home. It’s cold outside and I’d rather not go out. I dislike being stuck in bed. Sure, I can get out of bed, but not for long. I’m still snoozing off and on.
The worst part of being sick is not being able to be close to Lion. When we snuggle, I eventually start coughing. We’ve been holding hands though. He knows all about this cold. It’s hard to kick.
I have the honor of writing the 1999th post for our blog. I think that’s fitting. Lion started the blog. He should write the 2,000th post. I don’t know how many posts he wrote before I joined in. I’m glad I did. It’s been interesting learning from the comments and blogs Lion lists on the right side of the page.
I’m happy we’ve helped people with our trials and tribulations. We have no definitive answers. We’re just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. And if it works for us, maybe it will work for you. Maybe not.
It just crossed my mind that it’s a little like losing weight. Maybe you can exercise a half hour every day and you’ll lose weight. I can do the same and not lose weight. The same tactic doesn’t work for everyone.
I’m not sure what the next year will bring. At this point, I’m just looking forward to getting rid of this cold. But I’m sure we’ll come up with some new and interesting things to try.
Thanks for reading.
2000 posts is very impressive! Congratulations! As you know I’ve been following you for a while. You both seem to get sick reasonably often. Try increasing your vitamin D3 consumption when sick. Up to 20 000 iu daily is fine to take. Should help your immune systems.
