Adjusting

I’d say we’re going to play tonight for sure, but I’m not at all sure. Last night we got home, but had to go right back out to the store. Why didn’t one of us go to the store on the way home? Then we would have been delayed getting home and we’re still trying to figure this whole work, commute, dinner, let-the-dog-out-to-pee thing out. Needless to say we got home late and Lion had to write his post, and we watched some TV and Lion was playing with a new radio that came in the mail. Anyway, I snuggled with him a little but it didn’t turn into anything.

Today is a whole different mess. The Chinese president (or whoever he is) is in the area and I guess he’s going to be all over the place, all day including rush hour. That will mess up the already horrible rush hour. Lion has no idea when he’ll get home. And since they only believe in one or two roads connecting anything around here, that traffic has the potential to reach all the way to my commute. I don’t know when I’ll get home. So by the time we get home and eat and get settled, we may not play tonight either.

I know dealing with traffic and dinner is not a crisis. It’s not. It just takes some getting used to. I’m not overly concerned with not being able to play for so many nights in a row. I know it will take some doing to get Lion excited the next time we play. I don’t mind. I like touching him. I’m not in a hurry.

This is just a bump in the road. Considering the condition of the road we’ve been travelling lately, we can manage a few more bumps. If nothing else, we’ll have the weekend to get caught up. I think we’re definitely in for some cuddling tonight even if we don’t actually play. Sometimes you just gotta take what you can get.

Not chastity-related, but having lived in the Puyallup area for about 12 years, i just want to empathize with the traffic congestion. My best bet was, if i was anywhere north was to wait till 6:00 p.m. and then the commute was a breeze. 3hr. stop&go melted to 45 minutes, on average.
On an on-topic comment, i really admire the relationship between you two.

Wow, how I love following your dialogue. It’s so down to earth. Thank you. Your last few days sound like my last few decades. Sex completely stopped several years ago. My wife said if I needed sex to “just go take care of it. “

We are definitely back sliding this week. Ironically, I am uncaged this week. Maybe that has something to do with it. In any case I am hoping we get back on track in the next day or two.
